Our campus is located on 40 acres in the northwest area of Amarillo. At the time it was built in August 1997, The Craig was the largest construction project in Amarillo in the 1990s with nursing residences, memory care residences, rehab suites, assisted living and independent living apartments and cottage homes.

Dining at The Craig
The Craig offers residents elegant restaurant-style dining or a casual lunch in the Lakeside Dining Room all day.
Our menu offers a variety of choices to choose from, all catered by professional chefs and staff. The Craig proudly features delicious homemade soups, fresh salads, and desserts with a daily special.

Licensing
The community’s Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing operations are licensed by Texas Health and Human Services who licenses, certifies and surveys assisted living and skilled nursing facilities for compliance with state and federal laws and regulations. The community is not licensed as a continuing care retirement community (“CCRC”) under the Texas Continuing Care Facility Disclosure and Rehabilitation Act (the “Act”). Licensed CCRCs are regulated by the Texas Department of Insurance.
